This type of issue may vary depending on the device you're using to play Spotify. As mentioned previously by @kaworu_bloodpaw, a clean reinstall can fix the issue as it's most likely related to some damaged cache. To do so, you just need to follow the instructions of this article and let us know how it goes.

If the issue persists, include in your next response the make, model and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
