Skipping track shortcut

I have a windows 11 laptop and I wonder if there is a keyboard shortcut to skip tracks while spotify is minimalized.

Most keyboards have media controls on their keyboard, usually, it's combined with a Function key.

Some laptops do not have a physical key for this but instead utilize the touchpad.

My laptop defaults are 4 finger swipe for the next/last track, and 4 finger tap for play/pause.

On most modern laptops, your touchpad options are found within Windows Settings. If your laptop is older, you may have to find your touchpad options somewhere else. If you cannot find them in Windows Settings, I'll be happy to assist you.

If your laptop does not have a keyboard shortcut and you would like a keyboard shortcut, you can use Keyboard Manager within Microsoft PowerToys, a program built by Microsoft for extended capabilities in Windows.

Keyboard Manager allows you to remap any key to another, or a set of keys to an action.

For example, I have set mine to have Control + Shift + Right Arrow as the next track.
