Didn't help. Everything works when Spotify is being used in the browser, but not in the Windows 10 app. So the app is clearly the problem, or some windows update at some point caused it.

For a while now, there's been problems with the Windows app. I've tried repairing, resetting and reinstalling, nothing helps, and no other suggested option helps. When i click into an artist, an album or something, it's simply impossible to start a lot (not all) of the music. Nothing happens when I click the play button. Same if I search for anything, some work right away, some not. But, if it doesn't work after I've clicked play, and then click the like heart after, then it suddenly starts playing.

And after resetting/reinstalling the app, it seems like it's not downloading any offline content at all. It's just working on in constantly, but nothing is being downloaded.

Ok, I tried some more solutions. I did the WMI fix listed in another post, and at first it seemed to work, but download still not working. So I tried the Windows answer soluitions, but didn't really work. What I find is that it starts downloading a little bit, creating lots of folders and files for the downloads, but sort of times out fast. If I shutdown the app and start again, it gets a little further, and then stops again, every time. Then I realized the playback wasn't really fixed afterall, or only partially. Some tunes I had problems with before, worked, but most of it still not. Then I tried playing from my lists. I can skip through the tunes for a bit and they will start playing. But in a big list, at some point after 50-100 tunes, it will stopp skipping the tunes, and I can't manually start playing them either.
