Spotify High CPU usage

My Question or Issue

Spotify has been using lots of cpu as of recently and I am wondering if anybody else is having this issue. Whenever I change songs, either using media keys or letting current ones finish and songs automatically play next, it causes my cpu usage to jump unnaturally high and has been an annoying issue.

Thanks for reaching out.

As a first step, can you please uninstall your app and try the Microsoft Store/Spotify website one (depending on which you were using until now)? Also, check if you have Local Files enabled in your settings, and if yes, see if disabling them makes any difference.
