    <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm using the desktop version of Spotify on my Mac (OS 12.6). Usually I can play podcasts with no trouble at all, but occasionally I'll hit play and the app doesn't do anything. Nothing starts up and the timeline remains neutral. In the past it has fixed itself (no idea how), but lately it refuses to budge. I've tried restarting my computer, and I've tried logging oiut/back in. Nothing changes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm still seeing active updates on all my feeds, the problem is limited to the player. I sure would like a solution to this.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Could you try performing a clean reinstall of the app as well? &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/FAQs/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_blank"&gt;Here&lt;/A&gt; is how to do it.&lt;/P&gt;
