&lt;P&gt;Just to clarify, does this echo happen when you use other music software or the &lt;A href="https://open.spotify.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;browser's Spotify&lt;/A&gt;? Does this also happen when you switch output devices, for example when you plug in headphones?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I'd take a very close look to any and all audio settings. &lt;A href="https://www.thewindowsclub.com/windows-10-headphone-echo-issue" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;This TheWindowsClub article&lt;/A&gt; has some useful methods to try, especially the one with the "listen to this device" setting.&lt;BR /&gt;Also, since Windows allows audio-playing programs to have dedicated settings, it doesn't hurt to check whether Spotify is using the playback device you want it to use. They're somewhat tricky to locate, but &lt;A href="https://www.howtogeek.com/352787/how-to-set-per-app-sound-outputs-in-windows-10/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;this HowtoGeek article&lt;/A&gt; will take care of explaining it all.&lt;/P&gt;
