Thumbs Up Icon by Albums

What does this do? I was hoping it would sort the songs by "Popularity", but it unfortunately does not do that. It does put an upwards carrot character below the icon when I click it; again making me think it should be sorting the album. There is no tooltip text when I hover over it, or any way to unclick it if it's just a "I like this" button.

It's just another thing about this new design that I'm not a fan of. Why put a button above the poplularity column that does not sort by popularity when clicked? Starting to question who Spotify hired to make all these new changes...

Wondering if this is a future feature thing, for me clicking the thumb does nothing.
