My Question or Issue

Heya, on my spotify app there doesnt appear to be a option to start a group session. I've only recently noticed that I've never actually had this feature before until a friend invited me to one. There is no indication for Spotify to be updated. I'm unsure of what I'm supposed to do.

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

The group session feature is only available in the mobile and tablet apps, that's why you don't see the option on the desktop app. You can find more info about group session in this article.

Good news! Jam (previously known as Group Session) is now available in the desktop app! 🥳 🖥️ 💻

Now you can start or join a listening party with your friends, family, colleagues, and classmates, with the Spotify desktop app in addition to the mobile app.

Jam is now rolling out to Premium users using the desktop app. Free users can join an in person Jam using the mobile app.
