Song skipping and 10 seconds of audio before going silent

My Question or Issue

When I choose a song to play it skips several songs then plays a random one, then I get 9 or 10 seconds of audio before it goes silent. if i choose another song it does exactly the same, trying to replay the song just playing makes no difference either, it just skips to a random song again then plays 9 or 10 seconds of audio.

Thanks for reaching out on the Community!

Just to check, do you notice any difference after clearing saved cache from the app? Once it's done, make sure to log out from the app and back in again. Completing these steps will resync your account info.

If the issue persists, it would be great if you could let us know the make & model of your device, along with the Spotify version you're running. Also, to confirm, are you able to use the Web Player, or are you experiencing similar issues there?

clearing cache made no difference neither did uninstalling and reinstalling

As a next step, we recommend checking your Windows hosts file using this guide and trying with a different internet connection (preferably by a different provider).

Also, please let us know if the issue persists in the web player.

Estoy en mi trabajo, quiero escuchar musica desde mi cuenta y deja de escucharse a los 9segundos. sigue reproduciendose pero, en silencio.

I am experiencing the same symptoms except that I am using the web player. I've tried clearing the cache/cookies, logged out and back in, restarted browser, rebooted computer, and nothing seems to improve it.
