Used to have a simple dual screen set up - One screen died so I'm down to 1 for now. The issue is when I open the Spotify app it appears to be opening onto the second screen which doesn't exist...

Plan

Premium

Country

New Zealand

Device

PC

Operating System

Windows 10 Pro

My Question or Issue

How do I get Spotify to recognise that I no longer have a second screen and it must open on the first screen?

Hey @holdenlover_1,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

This type of issue is commonly related to some configuration that might still be saved in the cache of your device. So first, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article as this process will replace those files and ensure you're running the latest version of the app.

Also, if you installed the app from the official webpage, we'd recommend installing the version available on the Microsoft Store (and vice versa) to see if it makes any difference.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
