Songs Mass Repeating

I’ve run into an issue on the PC version where a playlist will eventually stop loading properly and will have a single song set to play many times over. Reshuffling works temporarily, but the issue is persistent. It’s not an endless repetition. Once it hits the next song, that song will also be repeated. Offline or online is not a factor.

We'd like to investigate this further, so can you please send us:

Your OS version and Spotify version.
A short video showing the issue. If the file is too large to attach, you can upload it to Google Drive (make sure to allow general access to the file) or as an unlisted YouTube video.

Also, let us know the following:

Does this happen with all playlists?
How does the queue look like when this happens?

If you're able to reproduce this successfully, let us know the steps to do it as this will greatly speed up the investigation.

I have the same problem, its like whenever i try to remove some songs from my queue it starts to do it

So sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. I am rarely on the PC version lately and my attempts to recreate the issue were unsuccessful. It had occurred 3 times over a few days before I decided to make this post. It did not seem to matter which playlist as I had one with only maybe 15 songs (new playlist) and a playlist as large as 2000 (older) songs that had this happen. The queue looks like one song over 20 or so places, then the next song would also span another 20 or so places. Sometimes the album cover won’t load, but skipping will play the song as many times as it is present. I am also experiencing a new issue on the iOS version which I will be posting about momentarily.

Upon checking, there's currently an Ongoing Issue which sounds similar to what you're describing so it's worth taking a look, giving your vote and sharing details in order for us to investigate further. It would be very helpful.

About the other issue that you're experiencing on the iOS version I recommend creating a new thread on the relevant Help board in case it's a different issue and if you haven't already posted about it.
