Sidebars resize every restart

Question or Issue

The horrible new ui means the sidebars for playlists and friend activity/now playing view ALWAYS resize themselves every time the app or computer is restarted. They're way too huge. The playlist sidebar also doesn't become small enough. It gets sort of small but then completely shrinks all the way to only show the playlist thumbnails. I just want it to be small but still readable, i dont ever want to see the thumbnails. Why does it have to be so **bleep** big.

Also changing the window size lets me change the sidebar sizes more. Like what?
