9 songs out of 10 gets the following message, "Spotify can't play this right now". Works fine when I play on mobile with app. Same wireless network

You could give the following a try:

Make sure your internet connection is stable
Update your device’s operating system
Close any other apps you aren't using
Clear cache on your device

as in the title, when i try to listen to a song on the desktop website, spotify "cant play it". The app works just fine though, so I'm kinda stumped. I've tried a lot of the things I've searched for and it just doesn't work. I'm on firefox, if that helps? also oddly enough, some songs play to about 9 seconds before just cutting off.

It can be location restricted content that you're trying to play.

Ask the Artist to make it avaible in your country!
