Spotify won't open!? Clean install doesn't work

Today my Spotify stopped working, I couldn't open it and it brought up an error saying it isn't responding. I thought I would uninstall and then reinstall, I did, then clicked the shortcut and nothing, 5 mins later the error came up again. I literally can't use spotify on desktop, I tried installing from Windows store and that doesn't open also - so strange, normally a clean install, restart would sort it but nothing. Member of over a decade, never had this! I miss my music.

Hey, how are you? Welcome to the Spotify Community!

The easiest way to get around this error is to open Spotify and leave the error open. Open Task Manager (Control + Shift + Escape), and end the Spotify task.

Spotify should then reopen with no problem.
