Keyboard Play/Pause button no longer functioning since last update

I have a Microsoft keyboard with 4 multimedia buttons:

1. play/pause

2. volume down

3. volume up

4. mute

The play/pause button had always worked in Spotify, but now it doesn't. I just updated to version 0.9.10.22.gf87988f9.

Do the volume and mute buttons still work?

they work outside of Spotify, but not when Spotify is the active window

That's really strange. Maybe a clean install of Spotify will do the trick
