Thank you for your reply. I just managed to log in through my Google account. Yes, after I couldn't log in anymore, I uninstalled the version that I have been using.for a few years. Though because my computer's OS is Windows 7, I can't use newer versions. I downloaded the app version for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 from the Spotify website. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the issue persisted. I'm not using a VPN connection.

Hey @rarerecordsfan,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community about this.

We understand you’ve already tried some troubleshooting steps including reinstalling, but to be sure that we're on the same page - did you use the steps for a clean reinstall mentioned in this article?. This is often an overlooked step, but it could be helpful in this type of situation.

If the issue persists, make sure your computer meets the minimum requirements mentioned here for the app to work properly.

If your device indeed meets the OS requirement mentioned above, make sure you're not using any VPN connection as it may affect the proper behavior of the app.

Hope this helps. If you have any additional questions, the Community will be here for you.

Hey @rarerecordsfan,

Thank you for your response.

We're glad to know that you managed to log in. Since you mentioned that your PC is currently running Windows 7, take into account that it could be expected that the app may not work properly as Spotify is officially supported only on Windows 10 (64 bits), Windows 11 and above as mentioned in the article.
