I want to search a pod cast for a particular guest. I can search podcasts in my mobile version but not my desktop. If I search while I am in the Podcast the results shows all sources again. Kind of going backwards.

Thanks for reaching out! I believe you're trying to use the app's search function to search for episodes within a podcast when that podcast is open 🙂 Is that correct?

Although it might look like the search bar is for that podcast when it is open, it will provide search results from all sources.
What I'm wondering, however, is if you're selecting the 'Podcasts & Shows' filter when searching for any title. When you do, it should display the episodes from the podcast in questions like this:

Typing in a part of the episode name after the podcast name should also change the episode list and prioritize what you're looking for. If this isn't the case for you though, could you send us a screenshot of how things look like for you when you search? Let us know what you're looking for and we'll gladly take a look from our end 🙌🏼

P.S. As a starting troubleshooting step, you can try removing your app's cached data. Hope this helps!

Thank you for verifying that it is a feature. After re-examining, I Did not scroll down far enough, my mistake.

Locate Podcast
Search type in Name of guest
Scroll down to level 4 of 8, past: featuring, artists, albums, playlists, podcasts, EPISODES, (audiobooks, and profiles Follow). Click the episode you want.
Just want to point out there is another path.
Home
Podcast Tab
Click podcast/show hot link
Search again while in the podcast
The tabs reappear Podcast & Shows, Artists, Songs, etc. Just click the Podcasts & Shows TAB and the episodes are listed. Not only do you get the guest in Podcast you want but many others or related.
