Spotify client is blank (black screen) on launch

I've seen a few other topics with similar issues but haven't had any luck with their solutions. Anytime I launch Spotify the client is blank, with only the (working?) file menus and icon at the top. See the attached screen shot.

The only thing that solves my issue is reinstalling. It will launch once, then if I relaunch the problem persists. I've tried toggling the Hardware Acceleration option, as well as launching with:

%APPDATA%\Spotify\spotify.exe --disable-accelerated-layers

I've also tried a clean install, but the same problem happens.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Need more info about your Windows version, also do you use a Spotify app or the normal installation from the Spotify website?

What have you done to troubleshoot?

More info means more chance of getting helpded.
