Trojan in Spotify folder! False positive?

Windows defender found this today. I have not downloaded anything on my computer recently.

Did a full scan on windows defender and one on malwarebytes and nothing gets detected anymore.

Is there a chance this was a false positive?

Since you haven’t downloaded anything recently, this could just be a false positive.

So in this case, I’d recommend doing a clean reinstall of the app to make sure all cache files are cleared out and you’re running the latest version.
