when i try to login on the spotify app on windows 10 it redirects me to a page that says illegal scope and nothing else. i tried changing my default browser from opera gx to google chrome and it still says illegal scope

After you changed the default browser to Google, did you try restarting your computer first? I would try that first before trying the other suggestions.

I tried everything in there and none of it worked
