      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#800080"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Plan: Premium/Paid&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#800080"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Country: USA&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#800080"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Device: Desktop (App)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#800080"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Operating System: Windows 10, 64-bit, Home Edition&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#800080"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;My Issue:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;Despite trying to use the keyboard shortcuts listed here:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#800080"&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.spotify.com/us/article/keyboard-shortcuts/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Spotify Support Keyboard Shortcuts for App&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#800080"&gt;With the exception of the space-bar, &lt;U&gt;none&lt;/U&gt; of the shortcuts will work.&amp;nbsp; My app is current/up to date, as is my OS.&amp;nbsp; I have tried closing and reopening the app, didn't help.&amp;nbsp; I tried using it on the web browser (Chrome, updated to latest version) - didn't help, didn't work.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;FONT color="#800080"&gt;I tried to see if this was a &lt;U&gt;current&lt;/U&gt; glitch/bug, couldn't find anything (found older topic posts, etc about this issue though, some dating back to 2018).&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#800080"&gt;If this isn't a glitch/bug, am I missing something?&amp;nbsp; Do I need to "enable" it somewhere and, if yes - where/how?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#800080"&gt;Any/All help is greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Are you able to access the shortcuts menu by pressing &lt;STRONG&gt;[Ctrl + /]&lt;/STRONG&gt;? Does clicking somewhere within the app before trying the shortcuts make any difference?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;We'd also suggest clearing your Windows hosts file using &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/FAQs/Clearing-hosts-file/ta-p/6130332" target="_blank"&gt;this guide&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;Hello and thanks for responding.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;Yes, I was able to access the list of shortcuts using Ctrl + / .... that's not the issue.&amp;nbsp; I can access the listing just fine.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;When I try to do any of the shortcuts listed, with the exception of the space-bar shortcut, they DO NOT WORK.&amp;nbsp; I have tried several of the shortcuts and none of them do anything.&amp;nbsp; No response, no action, no nothing.&amp;nbsp; I tried clicking on a few different areas, manually, with my mouse, and then trying some of the shortcuts and again - nothing.&amp;nbsp; No actions, no responses .... nothing.&amp;nbsp; The ONLY shortcut that seems to work is the space-bar.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;Also, per your suggestion I did the Notepad as Administrator thing and went to the pathway the FAQ page for it stated and the folder is empty.&amp;nbsp; There is NOTHING in that folder, at all.&amp;nbsp; So there is/was nothing to delete:&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="WillowRaven_0-1750885624030.png" style="width: 587px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.spotify.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/196973i03F688937715D08E/image-dimensions/587x417?v=v2" width="587" height="417" role="button" title="WillowRaven_0-1750885624030.png" alt="WillowRaven_0-1750885624030.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;Not sure what I should do/try next ?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;First, we recommend logging in to a different account to check if you can use the shortcuts there. You could ask someone else to log in with their account on your computer to check. Or you can&lt;A href="https://www.spotify.com/signup" target="_blank"&gt; create a free account&lt;/A&gt; for testing purposes and &lt;A href="https://support.spotify.com/us/article/how-can-i-close-my-spotify-account/" target="_blank"&gt;delete it&lt;/A&gt; afterwards.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the issue persists, it's worth checking if this is hardware-related. If you use an external keyboard, try connecting to another USB port. Or would it be possible for you to try with a different keyboard? Maybe a relative or friend's keyboard.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can also try updating your keyboard drivers by following these steps:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

 &lt;LI&gt;Press Windows + X, select Device Manager.&lt;/LI&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;Thank you.&amp;nbsp; I was able to - finally! - get the other shortcuts to work.&amp;nbsp; I didn't realize at the time - I thought I had a playlist up/active and was listening to it - however when I had skipped a song in the playlist, for some reason it took me out of the playlist so that it was just showing songs in a queue, so there was nothing to either "go back" or "go forward" to as the queue was just showing the "currently listening to" song, so hence the shortcuts weren't, technically, working.&amp;nbsp; I feel so dumb however I double checked a couple of different playlists, just to be sure they worked, and they did/do .... so I am guessing (?) this is solved.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;Many thanks to those who helped.&amp;nbsp; It is/was much appreciated.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
