Web Player constantly freezes

My Question or Issue

I have weird problem with Spotify Web Player and haven't found any solution here. The page doesn't always load on first try and I need to refresh it a couple of times or even restart the browser. Even when it works, the songs take unusually long time to start playing (pauses between them are unnaturaly long) and sometimes stops suddenly. After five or six songs the page freezes completely and refreshing doesn't help.

I tried removing browsing data, uptaded both Browser and operating system. Recently I switched from Chrome to Opera, in part because of this issue, but on Opera there's the same problem. I keep in mind that it may be my computer's fault, it's pretty old. I haven't check any other devices but mobile app on my phone works fine.

@Ignit3, in this type of case, we'd first recommend checking if the issue persists using an incognito/private window. If so, it's also worth checking with a different Wi-Fi connection to see if it makes any difference. If you don't have another one available, you can use a mobile data hotspot to test it.

Also and if possible, would you mind installing the desktop version of the Spotify app to see if it has the same behavior?

Lastly, taking into account that the issue could be device-related, include in your next response the OS version you're currently running.
