My Question or Issue

The song title disappearing in windowed mode and native full screen. Despite clearing cache, reinstalling multiple times, nothing happens. This only happens on this device, as I have not seen this issue on my phone.

I don't think I can reproduce this behavior. Would you mind clarifying what you mean by "windowed mode" and "native full screen"? Are you referring to the 'Miniplayer' and the 'Enter Full screen' options or perhaps something else? In any case, a screenshot / short screen recording which captures the exact behavior in action would be greatly appreciated.

If you haven't already, try zooming in/out a bit with 'Ctrl +/-' to see if that helps. It's also worth changing the 'Hardware acceleration' settings found in the three dots menu at the top left corner > 'Help' > 'Troubleshooting' and restarting the app to force a refresh.

Lastly, I'd suggest checking if the issue occurs on the Web Player as well.

In the screenshot, this is where the song title usually appears, and I've had this issue for around 3 months now. By windowed mode, please refer to the 2nd screenshot.

Just to confirm, the song title disappears after a while or it's just not there since the beginning when you start listening in windowed mode or full screen mode? Include in your next response the exact Spotify app version you're currently running to investigate further.

In the meantime, you can try using other internet connections (a different Wi-Fi network, mobile data or mobile hotspot) to see if it makes any difference.
