Desktop App now hiding media controls

My Question or Issue

Spotify is now hiding media controls and the window bar when Lyrics/Cover or Video is open. Can this be somehow disabled?
Also it does not keep showing lyrics when the song switches.

I second this. When the media buttons hide it's pretty inconvenient. It not only hides media buttons but hides any of the menu buttons unless you click somewhere first.

Hi folks,

We've heard from the relevant teams and can confirm this is currently an expected behavior and cannot be disabled.

If you'd like to be able to disable it in the future, you can also check out this idea and add your vote to it.
