Today, when I try to open the windows 7 Spotify desktop player, I get this message: "Cannot find 'API-MS-WIN-CORE-PROCESSTHREADS-L1-1-2.DLL' please, reinstall this application." This message also appears when trying to uninstall Spotify. Finally uninstalled successfully using Revo uninstaller, but when I re-installed Spotify, got the same message again. Anyone else having this, or know a fix? Thanks.

Same problem here. I'm guess that Spotify has stopped supporting Windows 7 😞

Edit - I went to: http://www.filehorse.com/download-spotify/old-versions/ and downloaded a previous version of Spotify and it now runs again...for now.

Unfortunately this has been a problem for 7 days now, and Spotify seem to be doing absolutely nothing about it. There are quite a few posts about the same issue, and a LOT of people giving basic suggestions (such as the one above). Alas, these are only temp solutions sadly.

Spotify cannot have stopped supporting Windows 7 without saying anything to their users - This is a horrendous thing to do if they have, although it wouldn't make sense for them to release an update if they have (especially one that simply just breaks the program out-right).

It can be said that Spotify are **bleep** at responding to issues though, and that they should implement an actual Beta-test before releasing an update (which they clearly haven't done). Hopefully this will be fixed soon, but somehow I feel like it won't be 😞
