Getting a 408 error even though I have the Canada code...

Hi everybody,

I got my code to get Spotify in Canada about a month ago. I've been using it a lot and it's great. However just today, in my desktop spotify app it's showing a 408 (out of country) error. I just noticed on my profile it says I'm in the USA... but I don't get why, and there's no other option to choose for Canada. I used my code to create this account and now it's not working. Can someone help?

Just an update... I am still having this problem, and haven't had any luck with getting a reply from Customer Service.

I really wanted to sign up for premium but obviously I won't do it if I can't even listen to Free.

If anyone has any advice, please let me know. I've been searching the community for answers but it doesn't seem like there's anything I can do without having someone from Customer Service help.

I'd just like to add also, I am not running a web proxy. Everything should show up as Canada.
