Search feature is so limited...

I am running the latest version of spotify in my windows 8 laptop and I wonder how I can search for query in an existing playlist? My classical music playlist just passed the 500 songs mark and there seems to be no easy way to find a song. Classical songs are often named differently, sometimes by common name, sometimes by piece, opus, rhythm, etc. and it is so hard to find the one you need!

I have 3 versions of the 1812 Overtude by Tchaikovsky (which is 15 minutes long) but often one searches for the song and you get all kinds of versions, the most common is the Finale because most people wont listen to the entire masterpiece. Anyway, I am in the mood sometimes to hear the long one, and the one readily available is the short one in the beginning of the list (because it starts with numbers) the other one may not you never know... so I would need to search within the playlist....

I don't think such thing is even possible!

@maccentris - If you already have the songs in a playlist you should be able to filter the playlist by opening the filter box by pressing Ctrl/Cmd+f?

Thanks for the shortcut, is there a menu that has it because I am terrible remembering shortcuts! 😞
