An error occurred. Please try searching again. Desktop issue!

I cannot seem to search for artists or tracks, keeps telling me the above.

I can access an artist or the album if I have a track of theirs in my playlist, but cannot search using the search bar.

Only seemed to become an issue in the past hour or so. I've tried logging out and back in, and I've also reset my wireless router, however I've had no joy as of yet.

I'm not sure if makes much of a difference, but I'm a premium member.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

First techincal issue with Spotify today - the search feature will not work on either W7 or W8 laptops, or my Android phone. It just says 'an error occurred, please search again'. There seems nothing I can do to resolve it, and as it effects 3 different devices on 3 OS, I can't see how it would be anything other than a server-side issue. More worrying though, is that I can't seem to find any way to get support through Spotify.com - the help section is worse than useless, with no way to log a call or speak to anyone about the problem. Like most people here I'm sure, I pay for my service - why can't I raise an issue with Spotify?? Hope someone from the company can respond to this.

Yes, me too - and no way to contact Spotify via this site to let them know about the issue.

Just to confirm, I have raised this via the Rock Star channel and Spotify are aware and working on it as we speak. 🙂
