Problem with updating Spotify

I can't update Spotify deskopt application. Everytime I'm trying to update it (by restarting Spotify) it displays a error "Spotify Installer has stopped working". Re-installing Spotify doesn't result. Any tips for fixing it?

I have this problem since May, of course I restarted my computer at this time 😄

Sorry for the stupid question, but you always have to ask 🙂 lol. At this point, I recommend contacting Spotify Support. The basic steps appear to have been followed - so they're going to have to open a case on this for us.

They can be reached through their Twitter Page @SpotifyCares or through the online contact form.

Make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify. Once you get it, make sure to reply back right away, even if it says it's from a "no-reply" email.

Are you Administrator on the user account the Spotify installer tries to run?

Yes, my account is the only user's account on this hard drive.

Yeah - it didn't sound like an admin error as that would say something along the lines of you not having permission to make the change.
