topic Spotify Error Code 18 - Windows 10 in Desktop (Windows)

This is more of a solution than a question if anyone comes across the same issue as I tried looking around these forums but eventually just worked it out myself.

I found out Spotify wasn't installing the update after I had recently closed it and attempted to launch, it would just say something is using Spotify files and gave me an error code 18. Looks like it was the night-light program f.lux causing the issue, I've heard other people having the issue with Steam running or their anti-virus.

Previously I had the same error and had to completely uninstall and clear appdata to get it working.
