Where to set to browse charts in English?

Hi,

Recently my spotify app changed the language in the browse charts section to another languague, although my setting is English.

I couldn't change it back to English. Any help is highly appreciated.

Hey @syyyap,

The browse section always checks the set country of your account. You can check your country setting at https://spotify.com/account.

Thank you for your reply. It's greyed out.

"Note: Your new country will only show in this list when you’re actually there"

I am staying and using Spotify in Malaysia, but I don't read Malay. This is something Spotify need to understand. Not all people staying in Malaysia is literate in Bahasa Melayu.

Yay! Spotify has changed the browse charts back to the default language set (in my case, English), no more in country language (in my case, Malay).

Yes im facing the same problem please spotify put it back to english i dont know how to read malay or want to hear any song from it.

I thought it just me, until i google it.

Mine was displayed Malay regardless I choosen English!

What the purpose of having language option then?

Might as well remove it, and forcefully decide the language for user based on IP.

It purely failed in user experience, please fire the designer.

Same issue with me in Hong Kong. Even though my entire app is in English, only the charts are in Chinese which I can't read. Spotify please fix it.
