topic loads too slow in Desktop (Windows)

I have a hp pavilion dv7 laptop with windows10. everytime i open spotify it take at leat 3-4 min. before it fully opens. this has been an ongoing issue even before i upgraded to windows 10.

what if anything can I do to make it load faster?

I have this problem too on Windows 7. It's more like 5-10 minutes to load for me. Sometimes I just give up. I look at the "Premium" label and scoff... not a very premium experience. I don't want to use any other streaming service, but if it's going to be like this then I'll have no choice but to give the alternatives a try.
