Audio from this program is at half volume when using a bluetooth speaker with my computer

When i use Spotify on my Windows 10 computer and connect my Bluetooth speaker, the volume is at half volume or less. When i use an aux cable in the headphone slot, the volume is at full volume. So this issue is only when using Bluetooth speakers.

I've read a number of posts to fix this for mobile devices (but i haven't seen/read one for a Windows desktop), they state that i need to disable the Spotify equaliser but i have no idea where to find this in the Windows 10 application. I've tried to look in every menu i can find.

Is this the cause of issue for the Windows desktop version? If so, where do i find the equaliser? If not, what is causing the issue?

Windows 10.

Spotify version: 1.0.58.573.g57c9cd87 (Windows Store version)
