Spotify does not start unless killed vis task manager and restarted (Win7)

I launch Spotify, nothing launches in the dekstop, 4 spotify.exe32's start in task manager. The run lines are:

The log file mentioned above shows:

[0331/125801.577:ERROR:registration_protocol_win.cc(56)] CreateFile: The system cannot find the file specified. (0x2)

The only way to get round this is kill all these spotify exes and relaunch, then when it finally opens the gui is all missized, and needs minimising and maximising to look correct. Ive tried with GPU accelaration on and off. I am on the latest version, but this has been happening for a while now.
