TL;DR: Local files' tab shows 99 songs of the 154 I have in my folder

Local files have been a recurring problem for me lately. Last week I wanted to add a couple songs, so I closed Spotify, copied the songs to my "Music" folder, then from there to my "Spotify" folder. Then it went crazy and "found" 20 songs or so. After a clean reinstall (total bummer, my Internet sucks and I have over 2000 songs on offline mode, it takes forever to download them all) it worked fine, showing almost all the 153 songs. Fast forward to 5 minutes ago. I downloaded a song from Soundcloud, closed Spotify, copied it to the "Music" folder, then "Spotify" folder. When I opened it again, it started listing all my songs but only went as far as 99 songs. Will I have to reinstall it EVERY TIME I ADD A NEW SONG TO MY LOCAL FILES???

Did someone had a similar problem, or knows how to fix it without having to reinstall Spotify every time? And a fix for this would be appreciated, since these problems are quite annoying!

I have a mac and am facing exactly the same problem. I have been uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify and updating settings every time I add or download an MP3 music file to my system. Noticed that despite following the steps, not all songs appear under 'Local Files' tab. It is a good feature but really frustrating refresh process for managing local files. Will love to hear from Spotify if there is a way to resolve this.

EVERY TIME I ADD A NEW SONG TO MY LOCAL FILES???

Did someone had a similar problem, or knows how to fix it without having to reinstall Spotify every time?
