Installer download not working

I go here to download spotify for Windows, but the file cannot be found on server: https://www.spotify.com/se/download/windows/ Tried different browsers

That is also a valid download link so I'm not sure why its not working!

There are 2 versions of the installer, the one you where pointed to is the lightweight installer which downloads the rest of the program once you run it. The one I gave you a link to is the full download package 😉

I think windows is blocking it somehow. I managed to download the small installer, but it will not run. Nothing happens when I execute. If I choose "run as administrator" i get a popup saying the program failed to run because it has a virus.

There have been some reports of virus scanners picking something up from Spotify lately here on the community but the number of reports is very small. Looks to be a false positive for some reason, it has been passed over to the Spotify team for investigation.

Problem solved by updating (avast) anti-virus software.

I tried to downoload the setup for Spotify but the application would not open when the downlolad was finished. Please help.
