I click on a play list to download it then where dose it go? like can i save it to my desktop?

If you asking how to change your download cache location, you can change it trough your Setings > Show advanced settings > Cache : )

They will be saved to where you set your download location.

The files are encrypted by Spotify, so you can't open them, check for more info in this topic
