Music plays on phone simultaneously while using desktop app

This has been happening for at least the past week or so, but when I start playing on song on the desktop app, my phone will also start playing the song. If I click the "Devices Available" it shows as Listening on This Computer. The music will stop playing on my phone after I open the Devices Available usually.

It has never done this in the past.

We'd like to gather some more info. Can you let us know if this started happening after a specific update or event? Also, could you let us know the operating system and Spotify version you're currently using in both devices?

Give it a try reinstalling the app and see if you're still experiencing the same issue. Here's how.
