topic Windows 8.1 and Spotify Connect bug in Desktop (Windows)

Hi,
I am exepriencing significant inconvenience when I try to run Spotify on Windows 8.1 pro: the Spotify does not see Marantz NA6005 standalone network player device. However when I run virtual Debian on the same Windows 8.1 then Spotify on Debian sees the Marantz player. I can start playing on this Marantz from Debian. Once I start playbeck, the Spotify on Windows 8.1 starts seeing Marant player also and I can successfully operate on Windows' 8.1 Spotify. But it is really inconvenient having to start virtual Debian and its Spotify before I can continue on Windows 8.1.
What I already tested on Windows 8.1:
- disable Norton Security
- unisntall Norton Security
- disable Windows firewall for both private and public networks
- change network to private (using registry)
- change connection from Wifi to Ethernet
Router is Netgear WNDR3700v2. Marantz is wire-connected. Windows 8.1 x64 pro runs on laptop Lenovo T530 which is connected through WiFi.
Please tell if the bug is within Spotify for Windows and if there is a solution?
Thanks and regards,
Mark
