First, something was wrong with my Spotify on my computer (Windows 10) everytime I would try to open it so I uninstalled it and tried reinstalling it and now an ERROR CODE 17 is popping up eveytime I try to reinstall it. I have tried to right click and look at the properties and have even tried to open as admistrator but nothing is working. Please get back to me asap since I pay for this monthly. Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the Spotify Community! Let's see what we can do 🙂

One of the first things to try would be the following:

Restart your computer in Safe Mode. To do this, press and hold the F8 key as your computer is restarting.
In Safe Mode, open the Spotify Installer (from where it’s saved on your PC) and go through the installation process.
Once Spotify is installed, restart your computer normally.
Open Spotify.

If the solution above did not work, please try installing the Full Spotify Installer Package on Safe Mode.

If it worked, then you should just restart your computer and you are ready-to-go!
