Installation folder is empty

I had to uninstall and reinstall spotify as the browse feature was not working. Now I get error code 53. I reviewed the various solutions and tried to move the folder form appdata/roaming to my profile, but discovered the spotify download file in appdata/roaming is completly empty. I have tried a half dozen times, removing and re-downloading. Very frustrating to pay $9.99 a month for premium and the app just won't work!!

I may be able to help you but I need some additional information.

Can you open CMD as administrator and execute the following commands:

icacls %appdata%\Spotify

and

dir %appdata%\Spotify
