topic Spotify is deadly to my PC in Desktop (Windows)

I'm about ready to unsubscribe from my Spotify Premium service. I cannot start Spotify on my PC without it either drastically slowing down everything else that is running, or crashing the system completely (frozen screen, have to restart the PC). I have reinstalled the software many times, but this problem is chronic. **bleep**, Spotify, it's Windows, you'd think you'd figure out how to get along.
