&lt;P&gt;I recommend performing a clean reinstall:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Uninstall Spotify through Control Panel.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Go to %appdata% in your file browser. You'll find yourself in Roaming. &lt;BR /&gt;Delete any and all Spotify folders in Roaming and Local.&lt;BR /&gt;Restart your computer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.spotify.com/download" target="_self"&gt;Reinstall Spotify&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Sometimes programs might leave some traces behind that interrupt with the new install. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;fun fact: in IT, if a user brings in a slow, buggy, crashing machine for 'software cleanup', often what is done is reinstalling Windows.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;It works similar to clean reinstall of Spotify. &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
