High Quality Downloading

I have Spotify Premium and when I downloaded my playlists on to my phone it gave me the option to change the download quality can you do that on the Windows software or dose it already download at the highest quality possible?

If high quality mode is turned on in the desktop client, Spotify should download the high quality version of the track, if it is available. Keep in mind:

(a) not all tracks have a high quality encoding available

(b) high quality on the deskop = extra high quality on the mobile

AbsolutelyNoFB is correct although the amount of content not available at High Quality is tiny in the Spotify catalogue (according to the staff anyways!)

Windows only seems to have the *stream* at high quality option. Is there a high quality for *download* to a PC? There is for Android.

If you're a premium user downloaded music to PC is always high.
