Noticably worse quality in Spotify compared to YouTube

Hello!

I've been a premium user for more than 2 years now. I've always though that Spotify's quality tops that of pretty much any YT video, but I noticed that a particular song in my playlist sounds noticably worse than when listening to in on YouTube. If anyone's interested, the song is Moments, by Tove Lo. What lead me to doubt the quality of the track on Spotify was the sound of drums in the chorus - they sound as if the volume was turned too high. Is YT itself mangling with the quality or is it a fault on Spotify's part?

Before anyone instructs me to do anything, I've tried it both on my desktop (Windows) and phone (iOS), deleted everything in the Storage folder (while Spotify was closed) and have high quality streaming enabled. Nothing has worked so far.

I hear no difference between the Tove Lo song on Spoty and YT. But it's an old post too...

Music on Spotify is provided by the artists, and Spotify streams them as is.
If you find a song that sounds weird, you can try the following:
Restart Spotify app;

Restart device;
Try on another device / network;

Go to open.spotify.com and check the song there (my favourite method).

If the song sounds ok through the web player, you should try reinstalling your Spotify client.
If the song sounds weird on the web player as well and none of the aforementioned methods worked, go here, select "I want to report broken song or wrong song information", click on "I still need help!", fill in the information and click on "Send question"
