No Sound

One morning....poof! no sound using Spotify app. Sound on computer works for every other app. Spotify volume at max. Time track at bottom indicates music is streaming, but no sound comes out! Rebooted computer. Uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify app. Tried many different songs, radio, podcasts......nothing, no sound from any of them. Didn't find any clues from previous posts. Any ideas?

Hey @hwrem

That's a bad surprise!

Windows has separate volume sliders for programs in the Volume Mixer. Right-click on the speaker icon and choose Volume Mixer, and you should have a small window with some sliders and program icons under 'em. Make sure Spotify is not muted there.

You can also try muting and unmuting Spotify there and then restarting Spotify.

Hi hwrem.
This doesn't sound cool at all! Lets check a couple of things:

~~- Have you checked the volume mixer on Windows? (Right click on the volume icon on the taskbar)~~
- Have you checked your sound drivers are up to date, and if they are, have you tried reinstalling them?
