Can't ReInstall Spotify Windows 10

I'm so frustrated... I was listening to a podcast earlier today, and it kept stopping. At the top i would get the blue bar that said, "Cannot play this song". EVERY time I tried to restart spotify, and play the podcast again like I always do, except it kept telling me that it "Cannot play this song" Frustrated... I decided to uninstall spotify, thinking that a minor unintall/reinstall might fix my problem. Well, now I can't get Spotify to install at all. I have 100% uninstalled it from my Windows 10 computer, and now when i try to reinstall it from the website, it pulls up the little window a the bottom where I can Open or Save. If I save, it goes into downloads, and I can't do anything with it, and if I try and open it, then I get a window that pops up asking me how I would like to open it up.

I've searched my issues, and have come across a bunch of different "solutions" with no luck. My windows 10 computer was just updated yesterday, so I'm not sure if that is causing the issues? I am so frustrated, and slightly computer illiterate. I just want my music... Help! 😞 I've seen a few people post a link to a more complex spotify install? When i click on the link, the computer literally does nothing.
