Spotify as an alarm clock for PC

I'm trying to set up an alarm clock to play some music to wake up to. I came across a thread that had some people using VBScript to do it, however I don't think those methods work anymore since everything I tried it did not work. The script would open up the playlist as expected but the playlist would not start playing, I tried using space and enter to start it with no effect.

Is there anything I can use to reasonably get a spotify alarm clock?

Quick update from what I found. I have found this android app that is still in development but does work, you may have to restart spotify and reconnect it every once in a while when it bugs out or you can do it premptively. It does have a backup in case it can't connect to your device by playing through your phones speakers. Until spotify can release something natively, this is the best I was able to find.
