I have the same problem. Want to use Windows desktop Spotify app since I have slow internet connection and have downloaded my playlists. Can connect to Chromecast Audio (which connects to my sound system Amp) from browser/Android, then use the desktop app to switch to my downloaded playlist but after a few songs, the connection is lost! Can connect again using the other devices but doesn't resume my playlist from where it stopped - very annoying. Don't have same issues with Deezer, TuneIn, BBC iPlayer etc which all use the standard casting button.

Please fix!

Hello,

I'm using Spotify Connect with a Denon X4100W AV-Receiver and in another room with Google Chromecast and with a Yamaha WX-030WH (a network speaker) in the kitchen.

When I select one of those devices via smartphone or the Windows application, it stops sporadically (sometimes it's working for hours or it stops already after a couple of songs).

So this must be definitely a Spotify Connect problem!

I'm using a Fritzbox 6490 Cable as my router and the problem appears with every tried device.

Please help me.
