Hey all, I have Bought a Predator 17 and when ever I'm listening to music and then open any PC games the volume on spotify drops by about 40%. Didnt do it on previous PC.

**Changing the Communications tab to 'do nothing' is not helping**

I think this is a Windows fault.

Please try this way:

Open "Sound" applet from Control Panel. You can also access it directly using "mmsys.cpl" command in RUN or Start Menu search box. Or right-click on Speaker icon present in system tray and select "Playback devices" or "Recording devices" or "Sounds" option.

2. Now go to "Communications" tab and check the option "Do nothing" and Apply it.

Your problem should be fix by now.

Please click the Accept as solution button and give a like if this answer was the one you looked for. I will appreciated it!

A predator is a gaming PC, so most probably, whenever you open a game, it lowers down the volume of other audio sources. Try checking in the settings that govern how your computer behaves when you are playing games.

Also, try increasing the system volume under Settings > Gaming > Broadcast (assuming that you are using Windows) and see if there is a difference.

spotify:user:kelvinelove
